Job Description
This role is responsible for providing compliance support and advisory services to various projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Compliance Manager to deliver a program that supports critical and highly prioritized projects.
The Compliance Specialist will assist in identifying impacted compliance obligations, developing risk mitigation strategies, and reviewing key documents. They will also provide ongoing compliance support and advice to project stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in compliance and legal roles within financial services. They will have comprehensive knowledge of superannuation laws and related regulatory requirements.
* Assist in the completion of delivered risk assessments as it relates to impacted compliance obligations and risks.
* Collaborate with legal, risk, and governance colleagues to ensure compliance risks are identified and managed.
* Develop compliant and business appropriate solutions to manage compliance risks and issues.
* Review and/or design essential documentation required for projects.
* Understand stakeholder needs and objectives to facilitate constructive conversations and strong business outcomes.
