Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
* Create functional statements and organisational charts to define worker roles and responsibilities.
* Develop work measurement programs, analyse work samples and establish labour utilisation standards.
* Analyse workforce utilisation, facility layout and operational data to determine optimal worker and equipment efficiencies.
* Design mechanical equipment, machines, components and products for manufacture, as well as plant and systems for construction.
* Develop specifications for manufacture, determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities and plant layout.
* Coordinate project labour and manage the delivery of materials, plant and equipment.
* Establish standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations.
* Carry out inspections to ensure optimal performance.
* Direct maintenance activities and coordinate requirements for new designs, surveys and maintenance schedules.
Requirements
* At least 1–2 years of relevant engineering experience.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, project specifications and engineering standards.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage projects, coordinate teams and deliver results within deadlines.
