Overview
Steelcraft Construction is seeking an experienced first fix Carpenter to join our steel framing team in Perth, WA. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for the skilled construction and installation of various building components, playing a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects.
What you'll be doing
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to plan and execute work
* Construct and install steel structures, fixtures and fittings to the highest standards
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects
* Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring a safe and organised work environment
* Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes
* Hold a valid White Card (Construction Induction) to commence employment
What we're looking for
* Completion of an apprenticeship or Certificate III in Carpentry
* 3+ years' experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
* Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools and building materials
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* Current driver's licence and reliable transportation
