Position: Remedial Massage Therapist

Stable Massage is now looking for a fulltime Remedial Massage Therapist for its Fitzroy North Clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Assessment & Treatment: Conduct consultations, assess posture, range of motion, and muscle tension, identifying issues to guide personalized treatment plans.
* Therapeutic Techniques: Provide treatments using deep tissue massage, sports massage, myotherapy, dry needling, and pregnancy massage.
* Client Education: Advise on self-care, exercises, and lifestyle changes to support recovery and health.
* Clinic Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organised environment, manage inventory, and report any maintenance issues.
* Client Retention: Build strong relationships to encourage ongoing treatments and client loyalty.
* Team Collaboration & Support: Assist in training new therapists and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
* Appointment Scheduling: Work with the admin team to optimise bookings and minimise downtime.
* Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest in remedial massage through ongoing learning.
Skills and Experience:
● Diploma of Remedial Massage or higher.
● At least 3 years of work experience as a Remedial Massage Therapist
● Professional indemnity insurance, Myotherapy/Remedial Massage Association
membership, and eligibility for Australian health fund provider numbers.
● Proficient in deep tissue, sports massage, and myotherapy techniques.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
● Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
● Commitment to ongoing professional growth and mentoring new therapists.
● Strong organisational skills for inventory management and maintaining a clean workspace.
● Proficient with scheduling software to optimise bookings.
● Stamina to perform massages for extended periods.
