What we're looking for
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Care or Individual Support (Aged Care).
* Minimum 3 days availability per week.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence and insured, roadworthy vehicle.
* Previous care experience and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable people.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
The role
* Empower clients to maintain independence and live life to the fullest.
* Support clients in their own home with personal care, medication assistance, social support, respite care, shopping support, transport assistance, meal preparation, home-exercise programs and domestic assistance.
* Work with our multidisciplinary team to ensure physical and emotional needs of clients are met.
* Build relationships with clients & their families and work together to ensure values, independence & positivity are the heart of your visit.
* Be an empathetic support during difficult times.
