Job Summary
This critical role involves protecting personnel, assets, and infrastructure through proactive patrols, access control, and a strong on-site presence.
Main Responsibilities
* Access Control – Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorised personnel are permitted on site.
* Foot Patrols – Conduct regular patrols to maintain situational awareness and deter potential threats.
* Stakeholder Liaison – Build rapport with Defence personnel, contractors, and visitors while maintaining a strong security presence.
* Incident Response – React promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious behaviour.
* Compliance Monitoring – Ensure protocols and procedures are followed at all times.
* Reporting & Documentation – Accurately record incidents, shift activities, and observations in line with requirements.
Requirements
* Australian Citizenship is required for eligibility.
* Current NSW Security License is required.
* Negative Vetting 1 Defence Clearance or willingness to obtain one is required.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging with Defence personnel and stakeholders are essential.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions is crucial.
* Strong integrity, accountability, and attention to detail are vital.
