About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the recruitment process across the organization. This includes engaging with stakeholders, ensuring efficiency and compliance in the end-to-end employee lifecycle, and attracting top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the recruitment cycle, including proactive recruitment methods, supporting requests and approvals, placement of advertisements, reference checking, and generating employment contracts.
* Streamline the recruitment process, ensuring the hiring process is efficient and effective.
* Provide essential support to hiring managers by assisting them to identify and attract qualified candidates and guiding them through the process.
* Act as a primary contact for candidates, providing timely feedback throughout the hiring process.
* Facilitate new starter induction sessions for employees.
* Track and report on various metrics, including identifying trends and areas of improvement of different recruitment strategies.
* Provide end-user support for HR systems.
* Conduct checks for eLearning completions, police checks, WWC & driver license verifications, and update compliance/onboarding records accordingly.
* Ensure compliance with HR-related laws and regulations, guided by the People Experience Partner.
* Assist in HR systems-related projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
* Provide support for end-to-end coordination of internal programs and processes, including assisting with development, delivery, and evaluation of recognition programs, learning and development programs, performance and development cycle activities, engagement surveys, and annual remuneration review.
* In partnership with the internal payroll team, provide support for the accuracy of the fortnightly payroll and ensure documentation is submitted in a timely manner.
* Manage the collation and reporting of information, including exit interview processes and references.
About You
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist who possesses:
* Tertiary qualifications in business or human resources, or equivalent demonstrated relevant experience.
* Previous experience as a Recruitment Coordinator or in a similar HR role.
* A strong understanding of, and ability to apply, Modern Awards and Industrial Relations legislation.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience preparing HR correspondence and presenting to an audience.
* Demonstrated ability to identify and develop ongoing relationships/partnerships with key stakeholders to support achievement of objectives both external and internal to the organization.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Demonstrated high-level customer service skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Ability to juggle competing priorities with excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Ability to work equally effectively in team environments as well as on tasks which require high levels of initiative, autonomy, and independent action.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in LinkedIn, Seek, and EthicalJobs.
* Experience in system integration and HRIS management.
* Experience in using a range of HRIS solutions, including Employment Hero, CultureAmp, and Go1.
