Crown Clerk 11/12, starting salary from $149,739 - $173,174 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing
* Manage key components of NSW Health's financial compliance program, including monitoring risks, preparing system-wide reporting, and supporting the effective management of compliance issues.
* Develop, implement and continually improve financial compliance frameworks, ensuring alignment with NSW Health and NSW Treasury requirements while proactively identifying risks, control gaps and data integrity issues.
* Strengthen financial governance by developing, reviewing and improving compliance frameworks, policies and procedures across the system.
* Provide expert advice on restricted financial assets, compliance obligations and financial controls to support informed decision making and responsible stewardship.
* Respond to unplanned, high risk or emerging compliance issues and ensure timely escalation and resolution.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
* Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, commerce or related discipline or similar and/or high level demonstrated experience working in a complex financial environment.
* Strong relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Practical knowledge and recent experience using financial systems, with internal audit or audit skills highly desirable.
* Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear, evidence based advice.
* A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
