Seeking qualified local professionals in Business Administration to deliver training across the Territory
About the Position
The VET Lecturer/Short Course coordinator for the Business and Workforce Management team will contribute to the teaching effort of programs provided by CDU TAFE. This includes developing resources, delivering, and assessing students to the competency standards of the Business Services Training Packing in line with best teaching practices and industry standards within a team environment.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
* Possession of the following:
o Possess education, training and/or relevant industry experience in contemporary Business Administration functions
o Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or be willing to attain of your own accord.
* Demonstrated experience providing training within a workplace setting or educational institution.
* Experience in researching and developing training tools to meet the needs of students and/or industry clients.
* Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including communicating culturally sensitively with internal and external stakeholders to whom English may not be the first language.
* Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
* Exceptional competency with the Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software packages.
The appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory National Criminal History Check, NT Working with Children clearance and Australian working rights
Requirement of the role:
* Capacity and willingness to travel extensively, including to remote Indigenous communities throughout the Northern Territory.
* Preparedness for off-road travel and accommodation in varied and remote settings.
* High level of adaptability and autonomy, with demonstrated compliance with institutional systems, policies, and procedures.
* Active contribution to the expansion and sustainability of the teaching portfolio, aligned with industry and vocational training requirements.
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at VET Academic Level A. The base salary will be in the range of $76,604 - $114,924 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $89,628 - $134,461 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation.
