About the role
Stoneman Painting and Decorating are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team on a contract basis in the Surfcoast, Geelong and surrounding areas, VIC. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to residential and commercial properties, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing team within the Trades & Services industry.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as required
* Applying interior and exterior paints, varnishes, and other finishes to a high standard
* Selecting and matching colours to customer specifications
* Providing excellent customer service by keeping work areas clean and tidy
* Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site
* Working collaboratively with the wider Stoneman Painting and Decorating team
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Painter, preferably within the residential or commercial sectors
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to achieve a high-quality finish
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
* Good time management and the ability to work to deadlines
* A keen interest in the latest painting techniques and materials
* A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
* A valid white card (Construction Induction Card)
