We are looking for a Journalist to join our Regional NSW team.
The position will ideally be based in Muswellbrook. This position could alternatively be based in Wollongong or at one of our other regional stations.
About The Role
* Write, edit, and present high-quality news for our Regional NSW listeners.
* Conduct and edit interviews for inclusion in local news bulletins.
* Collaborate with Regional NSW journalists to assist with story and bulletin production.
* Present bulletins on-air for our Regional NSW markets as needed.
* Write, edit, and publish news stories for the station websites.
* Report from the field and attend media conferences, doorstops, police incidents, and other news events as required.
What You'll Have
* Strong on-air presentation and writing skills.
* Tertiary qualification in journalism or communications.
* Experience in radio news preferred but not essential.
* Understanding of media law, particularly in defamation and contempt of court.
* A passion for news and a workable understanding of sport.
