The Defence Australia Supply Chain Management team seeks an experienced Contracts Advisor to support our executing programs. This role aligns with our commitment to building sovereign defence capability.
Our Supply Chain Management unit comprises approximately 200 professionals across 14 locations in Australia. We aim to provide leading solutions by supporting all BDA programs to deliver agile and innovative solutions to our customers.
Key areas of responsibility include:
* Strategic planning, governance, and procurement analysis
* Requirements planning and forecasting
* Supplier performance management, purchasing, and contracting
* Logistics and field service support
You will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements, collaborating with legal counsel, resolving supplier performance issues, and contributing to process and contract template reviews. You will also assist in developing training material and delivery to the broader SCM team.
We seek a flexible and dynamic individual who can demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to think creatively. As a professional in your field, you will have experience in contract drafting, knowledge of contractual and procurement requirements, and a good understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes.
