Salary: $42.70 per hour (including casual loading).
About the Role
We have an opportunity for high performing cooks to join the team at Major Venues. You will be required to work within three venues across the Gold Coast, including the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre, Coomera Indoor Sport Centre and Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium. The successful applicants will be required to work within our café, kiosks and catering kitchens. Working as part of a diverse team, you will deliver a great experience to every customer. Your role is to ensure high standards of food service, food safety and cleanliness are always maintained. You may be required to work unsupervised with an expectation to deliver consistent high‐quality meals to our Gold Coast community and event patrons. This is a casual role with a focus on weekend work.
What you bring
You possess strong organisational skills and remain focused and calm during peak service times. You have experience in fast‐paced kitchens and demonstrate a positive attitude to your work. You take pride in your presentation and in providing fantastic service and high‐quality food. You are flexible with work hours and understand that weekend, morning and evening work are all part of the service we provide to the community.
