Packing Machine Operator (Food Production) Afternoon Shift
About The Role: We are currently seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Production Machine Operators, in our Packing area, to join the Priestley's family, on our afternoon shift (2:00pm - 10:06pm). You will play a vital role in the operation of packaging equipment and ensuring that products are packed efficiently and safely. This position is responsible for maintaining quality standards, meeting production goals, and supporting team development.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate packaging machinery efficiently to meet production goals.
* Ensure all packaged products meet quality standards and specifications.
* Perform routine equipment checks and report any faults or issues.
* Support and train team members on packaging procedures and safety.
* Follow all health and safety regulations in the workplace.
* Minimize waste and downtime through proactive problem-solving.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area.
* Complete finishing touches on products as they are being packaged.

About You
* Previous experience in a food production as a machine operator (required).
* Previous experience leading, guiding and training team members.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Mechanically minded, with good computer skills.
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a diverse team.
* Physically fit (with the ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment).
