Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to drive business engagement and promote the organisation's training solutions to corporate clients, industry partners, and professional organisations. This role is focused on consultative sales, requiring a strong understanding of training products, workforce needs, and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and engage with corporate clients, industry partners, and professional organisations to promote workforce training solutions
* Compile and maintain databases of prospective business clients using market research and industry networks
* Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of training products, compliance requirements, and competitor offerings
* Assess organisational training needs and recommend tailored solutions aligned with business objectives
* Prepare and present proposals, service agreements, and training plans to stakeholders
* Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, and service delivery arrangements
* Coordinate with internal academic and operations teams to ensure effective delivery of contracted services
* Monitor industry trends, workforce demands, and competitor activity, and provide insights to management
* Maintain accurate sales pipelines, client records, and reporting documentation
* Prepare regular sales and performance reports for senior management
* Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with business clients
Skills & Requirements
* Minimum 1 year of full-time relevant experience in B2B sales, business development, or technical sales
* Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
* Demonstrated ability to engage with corporate stakeholders and industry clients
* Strong understanding of consultative sales processes and solution-based selling
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Ability to interpret client requirements and align services accordingly
* Strong organisational and reporting skills
* Experience in the education, training, or professional services sector (preferred but not essential)
