The Opportunity
A global SaaS product company is seeking a senior technology and commercial leader to take full ownership of its Australian business.
This is a true P&L leadership role — suited to a CTO, GM, or Country Manager who can lead at scale, drive profitability, and deliver transformation.
You'll be the most senior leader in Australia, responsible for a team of ~100 (50 local / 50 offshore) and 5 direct reports across Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Support.
Key Responsibilities
* Own full P&L performance (revenue, margin, cost control, profitability)
* Lead and develop a high-performing leadership team
* Drive operational execution across product, delivery, and customer outcomes
* Oversee large-scale software delivery and transformation programs
* Build and maintain executive customer relationships
* Implement an AI-first strategy across product and operations
* Improve delivery efficiency, pricing discipline, and commercial outcomes
* Align local execution with global strategy and governance
About You
* Proven experience as a CTO, GM, Country Manager, or similar executive role
* Strong track record managing P&L in a SaaS / product business
* Experience leading cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Ops)
* Background in complex, delivery-led software environments
* Commercially astute — strong in negotiation, pricing, and margin improvement
* Experience leading transformations, turnarounds, or scale-ups
* Strategic thinker with a hands‐on, execution‐focused leadership style
* Interest or experience in AI‐driven product and business innovation
Industry Experience (Preferred)
