Whether you're on the retail floor, in store support or behind the scenes, you're helping to champion successful independents across Australia.About the OpportunityAs the QLD IBA Sales Manager, you will lead the growth of the IBA retail network by driving high operational standards across the region. You'll work closely with retailers while guiding a team of Business Development Managers through effective leadership, coaching, and mentoring. Your focus will be on enabling the success and expansion of the IBA retail channel in Queensland. This role can be based in either Crestmead or South East Queensland.In this Role• Develop and coach the Business Development team to achieve key KPIs across their respective territories.• Identify skill gaps within the team and contribute to tailored training and coaching solutions.• Deliver the state's overall sales target.• Maximise the distribution of the Owned & Exclusive range across all relevant member stores.• Lead the joined-up business planning process with BDMs to drive retail growth for our members.• Leverage the Retail Development Team to maintain high store standards, aiming to have the best store in every town.• Identify and develop opportunities for strategic store footprint growth within the QLD region.• Regularly review the IBA BDMs' target list and ensure appropriate follow-up to secure new store recruitment into the network.You're Likely a Match If• Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets• Must have a background in or experience with the liquor industry• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with strengths in coaching, mentoring, and building high-performing teams• Willing and able to travel regularly within the state (approximately 1 week in every 5)• Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and engaging presentations• Resilient and driven, with the ability to thrive in a competitive, fast-paced environmentLife in ALM at Metcash Experience a supportive and flexible work environment.
