Due to rapid growth in our boutique Chartered Surveying Consultancy, we're seeking an additional UK Educated Building Surveyor / Senior Building Surveyor to join our Sydney team, undertaking professional instructions for our blue-chip client base.
Essential criteria for the candidate includes:
* UK educated Chartered/Senior Building Surveyor (MRICS); or, UK educated BSc Building Surveyor working towards RICS Chartership is essential.
* Degree/Diploma in BSc (Hons) Building Surveying with a minimum of 2 years relevant practical experience in a commercial Building Surveying practice is essential;
* Working knowledge of RICS Building Surveying professional standards would be an advantage;
* A demonstrated ability to deal with and assess large complex commercial, retail and industrial assets as well as the problems and issues to identify when undertaking Technical Due Diligence, Make Good (Dilapidations) and Condition Assessments;
* The ability to write and present a cohesive, coherent and technically sound report for readership by high level executives;
* Excellent liaison skills with fellow professional consultants to be able to source relevant information for compilation in reports and assessments;
* A very professional demeanor that will allow interaction with high level property executives in formal and informal settings.
You will excel in this role if you have first class technical skills and an inquisitive, searching attitude to building reports.
