Your new role:
As a Project Support Officer, you will provide high-level administrative and project coordination support to the Project Manager and project team for the national Quality Use of Community Palliative Care Medicines project. You will be:
* Providing comprehensive project and administrative support to the Project Manager and stakeholders
* Coordinating meetings, agendas, minutes, action lists and project documentation
* Maintaining project records, registers, systems and reporting in line with governance requirements
* Assisting with financial processes including purchase orders, invoices and contract tracking

You are an organised and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced project environment and enjoys supporting meaningful work in healthcare. You will bring:
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet competing deadlines
* Well-developed communication skills and confidence working with diverse stakeholders
* Demonstrated experience providing high-quality project or administrative support
* Solid technical skills across Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new project systems quickly

About us: Brisbane South Palliative Care Collaborative
The Brisbane South Palliative Care Collaborative (BSPCC) is the education, service development and research arm of the Metro South Palliative Care Service. The BSPCC aims to progress best-practice palliative care by implementing quality improvement programs, delivering evidence-based palliative care education and training, and developing inter-sectoral palliative care research programs.
The QUM project is funded by the Australian Government under the Quality Use of Diagnostics, Therapeutics and Pathology Program, for 2.5 years from August 2025-December 2027. It is operated by BSPCC. It This Project aims to increase access to quality and timely end-of-life care for patients who choose to be cared for at home and die in their preferred place if possible. Specifically, the project will support implementation of the National Core Community Palliative Care Medicines List.
