Role Summary
You will support aged care clients to live at home independently for as long as possible. The role involves traveling around the Port Macquarie area with availability Monday to Friday, 8am‐5pm (preferably 3‐5 days).
* General household tasks: vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, changing beds, washing
* Transport to appointments and shopping
* Meal preparation
* Social support or respite for family/carers
* Personal care assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)
Qualifications & Requirements
* A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
* Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
* Good communication skills
* A reliable team player
* Understanding of workplace health and safety
* Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential)
* Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential, traineeship available)
* Willingness to apply for a Police Check
