**Your Opportunity**
We're looking for a passionate **Warehouse Support** to join our high performing Procurement Department on a Permanent Full-time basis (38 hours per week) roster from Monday to Friday.
All the training will be provided to ensure that you have the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in your role and contribute effectively to the team's success.
- Receive, unpack and reconcile all deliveries.
- Notify Procurement department of any damaged /missing deliveries in a timely manner.
- Complete the consumable checklists on a weekly basis for Procurement to assess and order.
- Clean of the warehouse, including but not limited to, thorough clean of each warehouse bay on a twice-yearly schedule.
- Ad-hoc stock checks as requested by Procurement department and assist staff to find chemicals which are not immediately found.
- Repack chemicals from a bulk container into either smaller containers for ease of use or as a reorder point.
- Ensure that the warehouse and office remains tidy, safe and accessible to all staff.
- Transfer released chemicals from the segregations zone to their store locations with re-order point cards attached.
- Check the warehouse and lab for expiring chemicals monthly. Expired chemicals are to be removed from use and discarded in the appropriate disposal bin.
- Defrost the lab freezer twice yearly when due.
**What You Will Bring to Our Team**
- A passionate to help animals is a must.
- A current driver license.
- Experience with operating Forklift is highly desirable.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in the Veterinary industry is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in warehouse is highly desirable.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
