Hosexpress is a dynamic Hydraulic hose, fitting and services company. We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Tradesperson / Hydraulic Hose Technician for a residential position based in Geraldton, WA.
Responsibilities
* Onsite Repairs, Maintenance and Servicing on Hydraulic Circuits and Componentry as required, which can be carried out on:
* Heavy Vehicle Equipment, (Primer Mover, Trailers, Dolly's, Forklift).
* Earthmoving Equipment (Diggers, Loaders, Graders, Bobcats, Excavators, Bull Dozer, Screening Plant).
* Drilling Equipment (Drill Rigs).
* Marine Equipment (Tugboats, Fishing Boats).
* Repairs, Maintenance and Servicing on Heavy Vehicle Road Transport Fleet Equipment such as Prime Movers, Drop Deck Trailers, Semi Tipper Trailers, Dollies.
* Inspection and Resealing of Hydraulic Rams and Motors.
* Make Hydraulic Hoses.
* Make Brake Hoses.
* Sales and service of Hydraulic Componentry, Oil and Lubricants – onsite, in workshop.
* Workshop and field service work.
* Maintaining and assisting with workshop duties.
* General office tasks.
* Duties also involve client relations.
Qualifications
* Experience and knowledge with Diesel and Hydraulic Mechanical Systems and Components (preferably 2 years industry experience). Diesel Motor Mechanic Trade would be ideally suitable.
* Able to work un-supervised while also following procedures.
* Have ambition and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient English (written & spoken) and computer skills.
* Current Drivers Licence and Police Clearance.
* Can pass Pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen.
Salary and hours
Annual Base Salary - $90,000 to $100,000 per year.
Plus additional benefits.
Hours will be Monday to Friday 7.00am to 5.00pm, and rostered Saturdays.
