Job Summary
The Technical Services team provides comprehensive support across various disciplines within the colleges and some functions within the academy and research areas. This involves operating and maintaining undergraduate and postgraduate teaching laboratories, as well as preparing, developing, designing, and constructing experiments.
This multi-skilled, digitally capable team is responsible for delivering technical services, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies, and contributing to student experience and university values.
Responsibilities include providing laboratory maintenance and support, conducting equipment repairs and maintenance, and assisting with experiment preparation and setup.
Furthermore, the role requires collaboration with colleagues to achieve team goals, adhering to established procedures and protocols, and participating in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
