As a Wardsperson, you’ll be the link between care and comfort—transporting patients with compassion, handling essential equipment and supplies, and supporting nursing teams with precision and care. From lifting and positioning patients using specialized techniques to managing spills, waste, and oxygen supplies, your work ensures safety, dignity, and efficiency across the ward.
It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and deeply rewarding. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to transforming patient experiences in a supportive environment.
What You'll Be Doing
To provide non-clinical support to complement the delivery of secure, effective and quality patient care. This includes transporting patients, couriering items, episodic cleaning, restocking, and assembling equipment setups.

It is a key teaching facility for UNSW Sydney and Western Sydney University, providing extensive clinical services including emergency care, cancer treatment, paediatrics, and mental health services. The hospital features 23 operating theatres and a capacity for 877 beds.
