About the Role
We are seeking a reliable support worker to provide home help services to our aged care clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and enhance their wellbeing.
* Providing general housekeeping and making beds
* Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
* Washing, folding and ironing laundry
* Meal preparation and grocery shopping
* Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
* Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things
You will work closely with our clients and their families to understand their needs and preferences, and provide tailored support to ensure their comfort and safety.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A valid Australian Driver's Licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
* An interest in community care or aged care (experience preferred but not essential)
