Overview
We’re hiring a Clinical Psychologist or Registrar to join Lacuna Clinical Psychology in Mayfield East, NSW. This role can be full-time or part-time, with flexibility to suit your availability and employment preference. At Lacuna, you\u2019ll work with 5 06 clients per day using a trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy model of your choice. This is a training clinic, so we will support your learning in effective attachment-focused therapy. Lacuna is a private practice with a warm, thoughtfully designed space and a strong client base. We primarily see privately paying clients, as well as those referred under Mental Health Care Plans and through the Australian Defence Force.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical psychology services to clients as a Clinical Psychologist or Registrar
- Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy in your chosen modality
- Maintain a schedule that allows 5 06 client sessions per day
- Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice
- Collaborate with a supportive team in a private practice setting
- Utilize the on-site administrative support for referrals, bookings and billing
Qualifications
- Full registration as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA or be eligible as a Clinical Psychology Registrar
- Eligibility to provide services under Medicare
- Experience and interest in evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Professional indemnity insurance and ABN (or willingness to obtain) for contractors
