About the Role
The Residential Services Admissions Officer plays a vital role in supporting admissions to residential care, ensuring a smooth transition into care for residents. This includes preparing admission applications and completing residential care agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support residents and families throughout the admissions process, providing clear guidance on requirements, assessments, and financial obligations.
* Maintain accurate waiting lists, respite admissions, and statistics related to residential services.
* Assist with asset assessments to determine financial status and collaborate with business managers on financial matters.
* Coordinate meetings with clients, facilitate facility viewings, and manage admissions with nursing directors or managers.
* Cultivate relationships with social workers, case managers, and health information services to ensure timely and accurate admissions.
* Provide expert guidance to finance teams and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in customer service, with a focus on resident support and family liaison.
* Familiarity with residential care processes, legislation, and admission protocols.
