This role involves building strong relationships with clients, developing tailored risk management and insurance programs, and mentoring junior professionals to achieve team objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Risk Management Strategy Development: Develop, implement, and manage risk management and insurance programs tailored to client needs.
* Client Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key client decision-makers through regular communication and meetings.
* Talent Development:
Cultivate and retain a dynamic portfolio while mentoring junior broking professionals to achieve team objectives.
* Risk Renewals and Compliance: Oversee risk and insurance program renewals, ensuring comprehensive knowledge of major insurance categories and relevant regulations.
* Practice Group Contribution: Contribute to building knowledge and driving efficiencies and innovation within the faith and education practice group.
Requirements
* Excellent Client Service Skills: Proven client service excellence with a focus on delivering technical, strategic, and consultative support.
* Adaptability and Business Acumen: Strong adaptability to change, with an understanding of environmental, financial, and regulatory factors affecting clients.
* Solid Business Planning Skills: Solid business acumen and planning skills to craft and execute effective action plans.
* Autonomy and Communication Skills: Initiative and self-motivation to work autonomously while supporting team goals and exceptional communication skills for effective engagement with stakeholders.
About You
* Insurance Broking Expertise: Over a decade of experience in insurance broking with a strong understanding of business and organizational risk management.
* Strategic Account Management: A proven track record of managing accounts and strategic client engagement.
* Communication and Influencing Skills: Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
* Fundraising Regulatory Knowledge: Essential Tier 1 FSRA Compliance; a tertiary qualification is beneficial but not mandatory.
