Cleaner - Regis Port Macquarie | Part-time & Casual Shifts Available
We are looking for a meticulous and compassionate individual looking to contribute to the well-being of elderly residents in an aged care facility. Someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents Working within a supportive and dynamic team, you will be provided with a challenging and diverse work environment, as well as an opportunity for you to contribute and make a real difference to the residential aged care community.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Ensure all cleaning requirements are met each shift
* Interacting with the residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner
* Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other designated areas of the facility, following established cleaning protocols
* Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout the facility
* Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolution
* Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to minimize the risk of infection transmission
* Follow safe work practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
* Collaborate with other staff members to support a clean and comfortable living environment for residents.
