A leading local government organisation is seeking an experienced Facility Maintenance Project Officer to support the delivery of minor capital works across a broad portfolio of community facilities. This position plays a key role in ensuring that buildings remain safe, functional and fit for purpose for the community.About the RoleIn this position you will manage and deliver minor capital works, including building component renewals, refurbishments and facility upgrades. You will supervise contractors on site, oversee safety and compliance and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within approved budgets.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver minor capital works projects using established project management processesPrepare project briefs, scopes of work, specifications and tender documentationCoordinate and supervise contractors, ensuring safety, quality and complianceMonitor and report on progress, expenditure and contractor performanceSupport ongoing improvements to project management systems and proceduresMaintain strong communication with internal stakeholders and facility users Required Skills and ExperienceExperience in Facility ManagementStrong stakeholder engagement skillsExperience in procedure deliveryKnowledge of building construction techniques and maintenance practicesAbility to communicate technical information clearlyStrong organisational and project management skills Mandatory RequirementMust hold a current White Card QualificationsTertiary qualification in Project Management, Building Construction, Engineering or a related discipline, or significant relevant experienceCurrent Victorian driving licence Role DetailsStart Date: Monday 23 FebruaryHourly Rate: $61.94 +Super
