Our Perth Office is looking for a Full Time (12 Month Fixed Term Contract) - Senior Credit Assurance Officer to join our team.
About the role
* Review and Audit loans for compliance against all 13 questions of our internal audit review process
* Support the development and maintenance of credit assurance frameworks and policies
* Ensure all assurance work is properly documented, evidence-based, and delivered within agreed timeframes
* Lead and deliver high-quality credit assurance reviews across lending portfolios
* Identify gaps, trends, and emerging risks, with clear recommendations for improvement
* Prepare detailed reports and insights to support decision-making at senior levels
About you
* Ability to interpret legislation, policy and guidelines
* 3+ years' experience in Personal Finance or exposure to financial service-related business.
* Formal qualifications in Business or Financial Services is highly regarded but not essential
* Skilled in reviewing complex credit files and making sound, evidence-based judgments
* Comfortable offering support, guidance, and feedback to developing team members.
