Melbourne Wealth Management Contract or Temporary Our client is a leading global wealth management firm seeking an experienced equity markets focussed Client Services Associate in Melbourne on an initial 12-month contract. A key function of the Client Service Associates role is the ability to deal confidently with Advisors and their clients in a high volume, time critical environment. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate knowledge of the financial advice process, financial markets and product and industry trends. You will need to have a high attention to detail and should be able to prioritise your work accordingly and work well under pressure. CSAs work closely as a team and will often be required to assist the broader office and CSA population. Ideally candidates for this role will have 2 years previous experience in a similar equity operations, Stockbroking operations, or Client Services experience Key responsibilities include: Facilitate client onboarding and account documentation Client on-boarding, including preparation of account documentation, creation of client record in systems. Maintain client records in compliance with AML/CTF and KYC regulations Manage IPO and corporate action allocations Preparation of client valuations, asset allocations and reporting as required Assist with domestic and international asset transfers Process and Monitor stock settlements and outstanding funds Prioritise competing adviser requests in a fast paced environment Establish and maintain relationships with other internal stakeholders and departments Participate in department cross-training as required Participate in process development initiatives to increase efficiencies Proactively notify client/s and FA/s of any issues recommending a solution and timeframe Experience: Ideally candidates for this role will have 2 years previous experience in a similar equity operations, Stockbroking operations, or Client Services experience. RG146 – if not held already a requirement to study towards Recognised industry studies with financial markets experience, particularly knowledge on asset transfer /sponsorship would be highly regarded. Awareness of regulatory rules and how they apply to the business. Understanding of the various legislation and regulations within the financial services industry (ASX rules, AML, KYC, FATCA and CRS requirements) will be added advantage. Understanding of Portfolio management platforms (e.g. Praemium) will be added advantage. Client Service Manager experience not mandatory but highly regarded This role will be hired on an initial 12 Month contract and will be paid on a highly, competitive rate depending on experience.
