About the role: At Anglicare Southern Queensland, a vital part of our Community Service is our strong clinical team, including our Allied Health practitioners. We are seeking a passionate Physiotherapist to join us on a Permanent Full-time basis to support our older clients in living happier, healthier lives.
Based in the Townsville region, your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing quality clinical physiotherapy services, specialist advice, education, and support.
2. Conducting client assessments and developing plans to encourage self-care and independence.
3. Completing assessments upon admission to physiotherapy.
4. Implementing and reviewing personal physiotherapy services and setting achievable goals.
5. Collaborating with clients to develop care plans to meet their goals.
6. Having knowledge of aquatic physiotherapy and other contemporary therapies (preferred but not essential).
7. Selecting and providing appropriate treatments and advice to clients and carers.
8. Coordinating with agencies to obtain necessary equipment.
9. Referring clients to other physiotherapists or allied health services as needed.
10. Encouraging rehabilitation and supporting clients and carers towards self-care and independence.
Requirements:
1. Current National Police Certificate
2. Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
3. Degree in Physiotherapy
4. Current registration with AHPRA
5. Current First Aid and CPR Certification
6. Ability to make a positive impact in a respected Not For Profit organization serving Queenslanders in need.
