Who You Are

You are an accomplished nursing academic with an established national reputation and emerging international profile and recognised excellence in teaching and research. You communicate with clarity and diplomacy, build effective relationships, and are a collaborative leader who mentors others.

What you'll do

Based at either our Toowoomba or Ipswich campus, you will play a key role in driving excellence in nursing education, research, and engagement by:

Leading and delivering high?quality, student?centred teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs

Providing academic leadership in curriculum design, program coordination, and scholarly teaching practice

Building productive cross?disciplinary and external collaborations (industry, government, community) that elevate impact

Producing high?quality research outputs aligned with UniSQ strengths, seeking external research funding, and supervising HDR students to timely completion

What will help you succeed

We're looking for an experienced academic with an established national reputation and a passion for nursing education and research. You will bring:

A doctoral qualification in a discipline relevant to Nursing.

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

A distinguished record of teaching excellence and scholarly achievement.

Demonstrated experience in delivering engaged and reflective approaches to teaching that produce the best possible outcomes for students.

Location: Toowoomba or Ipswich campus

Term: Full-time continuing appointment

Salary: Total remuneration range $194,677 to $214,071 pa (includes salary range of $164,180 to $180,536 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
