Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate to drive the success of our Australian Rates Trading business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive customer engagement by fostering strong sales/trading collaboration and delivering competitive, timely pricing while executing the Australian Rates strategy effectively.
2. Maximize financial outcomes by contributing to revenue growth, supporting cost management, and aligning with regional and global financial targets.
3. Enhance electronic platform by working closely with developers to evolve our pricing and risk capabilities.
4. Analyze electronic data and present opportunities for growth and improvement.
5. Support senior traders by learning and growing under their guidance, ensuring continuous desk coverage throughout the Australian trading session and hand-over to our London desk each evening.
6. Generate market insights by delivering trading ideas and strategies across the bond product suite to support strategic decision-making.
7. Promote risk awareness by upholding a strong risk culture, ensuring limit management and compliance with internal and external requirements.
8. Ensure professional conduct by maintaining collaborative and professional interactions across internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Some trading, sales or enablement experience in a market business.
* 1–3 years of relevant experience.
* Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and requirements that impact ANZ’s Australian markets.
* Experience dealing with internal and external clients, with strong customer focus and ability to drive results.
