Senior Administration Coordination Officer
Ongoing full‐time (35hrs per week) opportunity. Office location: Coffs Harbour, Parramatta, Orange – other locations may be considered. Salary: $109,102 – $120,542 super (based on experience).
About the role
The role provides high‐quality business coordination and administration services to support the effective operation of the Threatened Species and Ecosystems Branch. Key duties include records management, staff recruitment and onboarding, financial systems coordination (accounts payable), business system review and improvement, project implementation, and preparation of briefs and submissions.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate briefings and correspondence.
* Support the completion of briefs, submissions and administrative projects.
* Maintain and improve business systems and admin processes.
* Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding and records management.
* Manage financial management systems such as accounts payable.
About you
Self‐starter with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise requests and manage workloads in a high‐volume, deadline‐driven environment. Demonstrates independent sound judgement and attention to detail.
Key knowledge and experience
* High‐level business coordination and drafting of correspondence, reports, letters and briefing documents.
* Senior‐level administrative support, supporting high‐profile projects in a high‐pressure environment.
* Providing advice on sensitive and controversial issues to senior management.
Qualifications and experience
Relevant experience in administration coordination, preferably in a governmental or environmental agency. Proven ability to support complex projects and manage competing demands.
