Optiver is seeking an experienced ETF Trader to join our Trading team as we continue to expand our footprint. This is a high-impact role within a collaborative, fast-moving environment, with the opportunity to help shape coverage, strategy, and execution across a broad ETF universe.
What you'll do:
* Quote, execute, and manage risk across ETFs, both on-screen and OTC.
* Identify and capture trading opportunities through market structure insights, relative value, and flow analysis.
* Work closely with quants, engineers, and other traders to improve pricing, models, and execution tools.
Who you are:
* 3+ years of experience trading ETFs, cash products, or closely related instruments.
* Strong understanding of ETF mechanics, including valuation, basket construction, and primary vs secondary market dynamics.
* Solid grasp of market structure and how ETFs interact with underlying markets.
* Experience with China markets is an advantage, but not a requirement.
* Comfortable working with data to inform trading decisions; experience with Python or similar languages is beneficial.
* Clear communicator who works well in highly collaborative, cross-functional teams.
