About the role
They are seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join their project team for a permanent position in Perth. Reporting to the Head of HR for the division, you will be the primary HR contact for maintaining and enhancing the organization's human resources by deploying, developing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities
* The go-to HR partner offering proactive, business‐aligned advice and solutions.
* Guiding managers through best‐practice people processes, performance frameworks, and policy interpretation.
* Leading the complete performance and talent cycle – from goal-setting and calibration through to reviews, reward outcomes, and individual development plans.
* Facilitating effective resolution of workplace grievances, disciplinary actions, performance management, and investigations.
* Leading and supporting all Industrial Relations activities, including enterprise bargaining, union engagement, interpretation and application of Enterprise Agreements and Awards, dispute resolution, and ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant legislation.
* Implementing continuous improvement initiatives and training end users on new processes.
About you
* Bachelor's degree in human resources, or a related field
* Demonstrated HR leadership experience in a maintenance, engineering services or project delivery environment.
* Strong business acumen, driving HR initiatives in culture development, change management, talent management and employee retention
* Proven expertise in the development and implementation of HR initiatives that enhance business outcomes, emphasizing diversity, leadership development, and performance management
* Strong collaboration and influencing skills, partnering effectively with senior leaders to align HR initiatives with organisational objectives
* In‐depth knowledge of local labour laws and employee relations practices, with confident, self‐directed decision‐making abilities
* Ability to coach leaders through complex HR decisions and leading diverse teams
