Oracle Exadata Database Administrator Role
The AFP is seeking an Oracle Exadata database expert to join their Enterprise Policing Systems Support (EPSS) Team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage high-performance database systems for peak performance.
* Install, configure, patch, upgrade and migrate Oracle Exadata systems.
* Maintain backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard.
* Optimize Exadata storage, compute nodes and network performance.
* Monitor system health using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
* Support highly available architectures using RAC, ASM and Data Guard.
* Implement and test disaster recovery procedures.
* Apply database security best practices and manage users/roles.
* Manage auditing and patching for secure operations.
* Collaborate with development, infrastructure and DevOps teams.
* Provide 24x7 on-call support for production systems.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation.
