Overview
A great career prospect exists for someone to take up the role of Sales Applications Engineer – Materials Handling Equipment. This role provides an opportunity to gain experience with a global OEM and learn from the best in the industry. The primary objective is to provide preliminary sizing, cost estimates and quotations for innovative materials handling, conveying and packaging systems using Heat and Control's product portfolio and to assist the sales staff achieve profitable sales objectives.

Responsibilities
* Produce timely equipment selections, estimates and quotations that match the customer's requirements and align with company standards.
* Provide the Sales Manager with a basis for further negotiation.
* Maximise the amount and quality of information available to the company to undertake the project if the quote is successful.
* Attend sales hand‐over meetings and provide information to assist the project team.
* Assist in compiling and updating material, labour and specification data for future estimates and quotations.
* Create and develop sales layout drawings that accurately depict the equipment being quoted whilst ensuring functionality of the layout.
Qualifications
* Highly experienced in systems design, particularly in product handling equipment.
* AutoCAD drafting skill, particularly in the development of conceptual equipment layouts. 3D drafting experience is highly regarded.
* Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel.
* Initiative to take action beyond specific job responsibilities to achieve objectives and positive outcomes.
* Ability to prioritise and effectively manage time to optimise the time spent achieving objectives.
* Ability to make decisions and execute a course of action.
* Display integrity, honesty and genuine enthusiasm in supporting the customer base.
* Ability to work cooperatively with other team members and company‐wide stakeholders to achieve team goals and maintain a harmonious team environment.
