About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering back-to-back shutdowns across multiple mine sites in the Bowen Basin. Your key responsibilities include:
Leading and managing shutdown teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Driving a strong safety culture by ensuring all shutdown activities comply with strict safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
Coordinating all aspects of shutdowns, including contract documentation, schedules, budget tracking, and performance reporting.
Motivating and directing team members to achieve project success while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Ensuring strict compliance with commercial contracts, engineering standards, and workplace health & safety regulations.
Mentoring and coaching personnel to drive continuous improvement and enhance safety awareness across all operations.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
A Mechanical or Structural trade background (Dragline experience preferred).
3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Proven success in delivering medium and large-scale shutdown projects safely and efficiently .
The ability to build scope of works from tender documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Microsoft Project .
Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills .
A proactive commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and risk management .
