Good Food Distributors is looking for an experienced and confident Retail Manager to lead our Gourmet Food Store in Salamander Bay. We are a proudly established local business that has been operating for over 30 years, built on quality products, strong relationships, and a genuine passion for great food. Our store is known for premium meats, specialty products, and gourmet offerings that our customers trust and return for. About The Role
As Retail Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our gourmet deli, leading the team from the front and setting the standard for service, presentation, and food safety.
Your Responsibilities
* Managing daily workflow and coordinating with the butchers team
* Overseeing stock control and ordering
* Maintaining high merchandising and display standards
* Ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance
* Delivering exceptional customer service
* Driving sales performance and store presentation
About You
* Previous management or senior retail experience
* Strong experience within food retail or a gourmet deli environment
* A solid understanding of food safety standards
* Confident leadership skills with a hands-on approach
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* A genuine passion for quality food
Gourmet product knowledge and deli experience will be highly regarded.
