This well known & highly reputable company is seeking a Payroll Manager who can take over and streamline this businesses payroll function with a small team. **The Role**
As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for a leading the payroll function with a small team including playing a major role in the end to end processing.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- End to end payroll processing working on a high volume weekly payroll.
- Ensuring wages are processed in line with multiple Awards and assisting with processing when required.
- Manage all month and year end reconciliation, journals, reporting and statutory returns required
- Monitoring the performance of the payroll system and coordinating updates and ongoing maintenance and improvements as required
- Work closely with the HR team to prepare and implement pay awards and salary increases
- Ensuring that final pay is submitted within the timelines of the business.
- Ensures the accurate calculation, payment and reconciliation of employee entitlements, PAYG tax, superannuation contributions, and termination payments; validates payroll system calculations
**Your Profile**
To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent full function payroll experience and have the ability to mentor and support staff. Any successful applicants will have experience using Micropay. You will need to demonstrate full understanding of the payroll process and working at high volumes as well as thrive on stimulating change and to drive positive impact.
