We are currently seeking an experienced Open Pit Supervisor - Load & Haul to join our high-performing team at Woodie Woodie, located 407km southeast of Port Hedland.
The Role
Reporting to the Load & Haul Manager, you will lead and supervise pit operations, ensuring safe and efficient execution of the mining plan.
Responsibilities
* Promote and maintain a strong safety culture
* Deliver weekly to 3-month mining plans in alignment with targets
* Supervise daily Load & Haul operations to maximise efficiency and productivity
* Monitor and report equipment utilisation, production data, and team performance
* Identify and lead improvement initiatives and assist in project work
* Participate in labour planning, recruitment, and onboarding processes
* Set KPIs, provide coaching, and manage performance for your direct reports
* Collaborate across departments to achieve production and safety goals
About You
* Previous supervisory experience in open pit mining
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams
* Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental policies and practices
* High level of time management, communication, and computer literacy (MS Office)
* Valid Full C class driver's licence
* Statutory Supervisor and Quarry Manager qualifications (preferred)
* Able to pass a pre-employment medical and provide a National Police Clearance (dated within 6 months or willing to obtain)
* Strong alignment with ConsMin's values and commitment to operational excellence
