WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
About the Team
Based at our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE), our Production and Engineering teams work in tight collaboration to design, manufacture and deliver solutions in relation to our landmark project, LAND400 Phase 2. With multiple positions available, the successful candidates will further develop the collaboration between teams with the positions reporting to Engineering, Quality and Production.
About the Role
The Production Support Engineers/Technicians will work in a cross-functional team, offering solutions to issues that appear during manufacture, assembly, integration and testing. Your daily tasking will include:
* Investigations into quality notes raised by Production;
* Developing technical solutions to issues that arise at various stages of production;
* Work in collaboration with various internal stakeholders, including the Rheinmetall Group Engineering team;
* Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to provide engineering input and assessment on Application for Deviation documentation; and
* Proactively monitor build states to identify any issues that may affect vehicle delivery.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering and/or equivalent Trade qualification and experience;
* Experience in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications;
* Advanced MS Office skills;
* Experience within the Defence Manufacturing industry (greatly desired); and
* Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
