Community Choir Leader
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Community Choir Leader to lead our vibrant pop choir.
As a part-time role, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled musician to share their love of singing and build community through the power of music.
Our choirs bring joy and connection to people of all ages and backgrounds, celebrating the power of music to bring people together.
Conducting weekly 2 hour choir rehearsals to teach our pop repertoire and prepare the choir for performances,
Preparing the choir for public performances and events throughout the year,
Creating a vibrant and dynamic community of singers who want to sing for the joy of it,
No admin or membership management,
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience as a choir director or musical leader, preferably with a community-based choir is ideal but not necessarily essential.
Dynamic personality and strong performance skills to engage and entertain your singers. We can't emphasise this enough.
Sound choral conducting and rehearsal techniques, with the ability to motivate and inspire singers, Strong musical skills, including sight-reading, vocal coaching, and arranging music, Familiarity with a wide range of musical styles, from pop to contemporary, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build a positive and inclusive choir culture,
Passion for sharing the joy of singing and creating meaningful musical experiences for the community,
