This is a 21 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, **** Champion Bay Senior High School is the largest Independent Public School in the Midwest region of Western Australia.

Find out more about our school by visiting or The Role As the Associate Principal, you will be responsible for designing, creating and maintain the whole school timetable for years 7 to 12 ensuring the efficient distribution of physical and human resources across the school.
Another aspect of this position is Human Resources Management in cooperation with the principal so experience in the use of RAMS and the process for panel selections will be highly regarded.
You will also be responsible for the creation and maintenance of reporting groups and processes within the Reporting to Parents department application, ensuring timely and accurate data is recorded throughout the academic year.
You will also ensure that formal reports are accurately prepared and distributed to parents at the designated time through the year.
You will also have Cohort oversight of two year groups in conjunction with Form teachers, Year Coordinators/Team leaders and SSMs which will involve supporting and advising on the following aspects of student care and support: Enrolments: Behaviour: Attendance: Engagement: Pastoral care: Case Management for Tier 3: SAER processes.
Performance management of a number of Level 3 school administrators and oversight of the successful development of associated Learning Areas/ Programs is another important aspect of this position and previous experience in this would be highly regarded.
The successful applicant will ideally have a high level of understanding of the case management approach for students at educational risk that includes knowledge of effective multi-tiered systems of support.
Previous experience in leadership roles within a school context is highly regarded for the role, as is an understanding of the Champion Bay Senior High School Business Plan and Strategic plan as this position is responsible for leadership of Focus Area 3 "Data Driven Decisions".
The successful applicant will need to build community partnerships and represent the school within the community on a regular basis, showing evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful applicant will ideally be able to demonstrate that they can effectively operate within a focussed and distributed leadership team environment and have versatility to take on areas under any of the Associate Principal's portfolios should it be deemed necessary by the Principal.

Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.
