**Contexte**:

**Missions**:
Governance
- Work with the APAC Leadership Team in ensuring compliance across Divisional and Group governance
- Assist the APAC Leadership Team in the development and implementation of Divisional commercial policy, process and systems as required
- Lead bid commercial solution development & transition in accordance with governance framework & budget
- Lead commercial internal approval process for assigned bids
- Lead bid governance & ensure it is documented for assigned bids
Bids
- On assigned bids, responsible for commercial deliverables and activities including: commercial strategy and solution, pricing strategy, commercial model, contract review and amendments, contract negotiations, subcontractor/partner agreements and negotiations, project structures and financing
- On assigned key bids/projects, lead a team of commercial professionals to deliver commercial deliverables and activities as required
- Work within bid teams, to develop commercial positions which optimally balance the division's exposure to commercial risk with its appetite to win
- Play a key role at a strategic level on selected bids and commercial negotiations that are either material in terms of impact on financials, impact on strategy or level of complexity
- On assigned projects, understand the key financial risks and opportunities facing the business and ensure innovative initiatives are developed to address those risks and enable competitiveness including:
- development of commercial models/financing models with the support of a commercial analyst
transaction/pricing structuring
- Provide commercial challenge to bids, as required
Transition
- Perform transition due diligence and negotiations
- Lead contract/commercial solutions changes during transition
- Finalise Subcontractor/Partner negotiations
- Finalise and handover of commercial deliverables to Operational Team.
People and Culture
- Assist in the recruiting, retention, training, management and motivation of staff with the appropriate skills, as required
- Mentor and coach staff within the APAC team
Other responsibilities
- It is expected that the role will assist the APAC wider business with activities that will assist the organisation deliver its objectives.
**Responsabilités et activités**:
The primary purpose of the role is to provide dedicated, high quality commercial expertise and leadership for bids. This role is expected to lead and manage the delivery of sound commercial solutions and accurate price and cost models.
**Expériences et compétences requises**:
- Degree in Law, Commerce, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent
- A minimum of 12 years' experience in bidding major infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading commercial teams and having ownership over commercial outcomes on complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership and people management experience
- Proven communication and stakeholder management skills and will be accustomed to developing trusted and productive internal and external business relationships.
