Job Overview
This role involves maintaining and repairing our autonomous drills and semi-autonomous dozer fleet. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain Autonomous Operating Systems on our equipment.
The position is based at the Lake Vermont Coal Project in North Queensland. The roster is 7/7 rotating day and night shifts, working 12.5-hour days.
About the Role
* Diagnose and repair complex Autonomous Operating Systems on our autonomous drills and semi-autonomous dozer fleet.
* Perform service and repairs on base machines to ensure optimal performance.
* Respond promptly to autonomous and network equipment breakdowns on site.
* Monitor and position communication trailers for effective operation.
* Access technical information via manuals, OEM, and computer systems.
* Work safely and in compliance with our Site Safety Health and Management System.
* Contribute to a clean and safe work environment.
* Carry out regular inspections to maximise equipment availability.
Requirements
* A trade qualification in Heavy Mobile Plant, Electrical, Auto Electrical, or as a Communication Technician.
* At least 5 years' experience in mining maintenance.
* Strong collaboration and independent work skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
* A strong safety-first mindset and proven track record of compliance.
* Desirable experience with: Autonomous Haulage, Drill, or Dozer systems, CAT Terrain, Mine 4D, Repeater trailer systems.
