Join the Northern Territory Government to strategically plan, align, develop and deliver infrastructure needs to sustainably grow the Northern Territory (NT) for Territorians.
The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure partners with community, business, and government to deliver integrated, sustainable infrastructure and services across the NT.
The Role
Opportunities are available for Landowner Engagement Managers within Infrastructure NT.
Infrastructure NT, the Northern Territory’s infrastructure body, undertakes strategic infrastructure planning and development that coordinates and aligns infrastructure needs with economic and population growth, and delivers nationally significant infrastructure projects. The Territory Energy Link project is a unique and innovative major infrastructure project that will connect major energy projects in the Beetaloo Sub Basin to Middle Arm Precinct and other strategic infrastructure in Darwin.
You will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of land tenure, access, and acquisition, including high-quality and complex landowner engagement, to effectively support and de‑risk major government infrastructure projects.
About you
* Highly developed leadership and project management skills
* High-level oral and written communications, negotiation, relationship management and collaboration skills
* Demonstrated experience in engaging and communicating with various stakeholder groups on sensitive and complex projects, including Aboriginal and other community stakeholders.
* Knowledge of the economic, political, and social issues impacting the Government and the Northern Territory
* Ability to work in a high demand environment subject to constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
The successful applicant must be able to undertake field-based engagement activities and travel by four-wheel drive vehicle to regional and remote parts of the Northern Territory.
